Harbor Point offers a variety of apartment layouts, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom homes, along with select townhome options. Floor plans, building styles, features, and availability vary throughout the community, so prospective residents should check current availability to explore their options.
How do I check apartment availability and pricing?
Current pricing and available apartments can be viewed through the Floor Plans and Check Availability options on the Harbor Point website. You can compare available homes and floor plans and begin the leasing process online.
How do I apply for an apartment at Harbor Point?
Once you find an available apartment that fits your needs, select Apply Now or follow the application option provided through the online leasing system. If you have questions before applying, contact the Harbor Point leasing team for assistance.
Is Harbor Point pet-friendly?
Yes. Harbor Point is a pet-friendly community that welcomes cats and dogs. Most breeds are accepted, although some restrictions apply. Contact the leasing team for current breed, weight, registration, and other pet-policy requirements before applying.
Is parking available at Harbor Point?
Yes. Harbor Point offers resident parking, including free outdoor parking. Residents with vehicles must complete the parking registration process and provide a valid driver's license and vehicle registration to receive the appropriate parking sticker and gate card. Garage parking and EV charging options are also available.
What amenities are available at Harbor Point?
Harbor Point offers a wide range of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a fitness center, swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, volleyball, grilling areas, a disc golf course, bike and jogging paths, waterfront green space, and direct Harborwalk access. The community also features on-site dining, a marketplace, daycare, healthcare services, a hair salon, package services, and other everyday conveniences.
Does every apartment have a washer and dryer?
Laundry options vary by apartment. Select homes offer in-home laundry or washer and dryer hookups, while residents in other buildings have access to community laundry centers. Harbor Point's laundry system includes digital payment options, machine availability information, and cycle-completion notifications.
What utilities are included?
Utility arrangements vary by apartment and home type. Heat, hot water, and air conditioning are included in many apartments. Townhome residents may have different utility responsibilities, including electricity and, in some cases, gas. Confirm the utilities included with your specific apartment before signing your lease.
What is Harbor Point close to?
Harbor Point is located along the Dorchester waterfront next to UMass Boston and near Carson Beach, the Harborwalk, and JFK/UMass Station on the MBTA Red Line. Residents also have convenient access to Downtown Boston, the Seaport, Cambridge, I-93, and destinations throughout Greater Boston.
How close is Harbor Point to public transportation?
JFK/UMass Station is located nearby and provides Red Line access to Downtown Boston, South Station, Cambridge, and other destinations. Several MBTA bus routes also serve the area, giving residents multiple options for commuting without a car.
Can I tour Harbor Point before applying?
Yes. Prospective residents can schedule an in-person tour or explore available virtual tours online. Harbor Point also offers an interactive community map that can help you compare apartment locations, amenities, waterfront areas, and other features throughout the property.
Is Harbor Point close to the Harborwalk and Carson Beach?

Current Residents
How do I pay rent online?
Residents can use the Harbor Point Resident Portal to pay rent, access account information, submit routine maintenance requests, communicate with management, and manage other common resident needs online.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Non-emergency maintenance requests can be submitted through the Resident Portal. Harbor Point also provides 24-hour emergency maintenance service for urgent maintenance issues. For police, fire, or medical emergencies, call 911.
How do I add or remove a roommate?
Residents who need to add or remove someone from their lease should follow Harbor Point's Roommate Change process. Required documents and fees depend on the type of change being requested. Incoming roommates must complete the applicable application and screening requirements, and all required documentation must be submitted before the change can be finalized.
How do I register my vehicle?
Residents can register their vehicle online through Harbor Point's parking registration form. You will need to provide your vehicle information and upload a valid driver's license and vehicle registration. Once processed, residents can receive the appropriate parking sticker and gate card for outdoor parking access.
How do I register my pet?
Residents can register pets through the Harbor Point Pet Registration page. Pet registration helps management maintain current records and confirm required information about pets living in the community.
How do I get additional or replacement keys?
Each apartment receives two sets of keys at move-in at no additional charge. Residents who need additional or replacement building, apartment, or mailbox keys can submit the online key request form. Additional keys are currently $20 each and are charged through the Resident Portal.
How do I access the fitness center?
Residents who need fitness center access can request a key fob through the Resident Corner. Once your access is set up, the fitness center and its equipment are available for resident use according to community access policies.
Where can I find Harbor Point community news and updates?
Visit the Community Newsletter section through the Resident Corner for resident news, upcoming events, community announcements, seasonal reminders, resident spotlights, and other important updates.
What should new residents do before moving in?
Before picking up keys, new residents should pay any remaining move-in charges through the Resident Portal and establish the required utility accounts. Residents should also update their mailing address, arrange internet or cable service if desired, and register their vehicle for parking. Each apartment receives two sets of keys at move-in.
How do I contact Harbor Point management?
Residents can use the Resident Portal for many everyday account and service needs. For leasing, renewals, management questions, public safety concerns, and other issues, Harbor Point also provides dedicated contact information through the Resident Corner and Essential Phone Numbers resources.
